Joining is simple. Just fill out a request form on this site, and Mr. Jordan will be in contact with you within three days.
FHL is a simulation-basted program run by Batesoft.
Some of them are self explanatory. PO is position, HD is handedness, IJ determines how injured a player is, IT is intensity (How hard a player plays), SP is speed, ST is strength, EN is endurance (how long a player can skate in a shift), DU is durability (how often a player gets injured), DI is discipline (the likeliness of a player taking a penalty; as a side note, high IN + low DI = player will be more likely to get into a fight), SK is skating ability, PA is passing accuracy, PC is puck control (as far as centers go, this is the best way to determine how well they are on the face-off), DF is defensive ability, SC is scoring ability, EX is league experience (this will be one of the stats that will always go up every year.), LD is leadership, and finally OV is overall (the average of all the above stats combined.)
The GM Editor is a VERY helpful tool to edit your lines with. This also helps me, simply because I have a ton of reading to do with manual lines, and it's very frustrating to be going back and fourth from e-mail to sim and back and fourth, you get the picture. The GM Editor can be downloaded on the Batesoft site. If you need help with how to work it, Andy Audet of the ZHL has a really great tutorial of how to work it. You can see it right here.
